WORKSHOP IN URVIND<\/h5>\n

The Pro Valea Cri\u015fului Repede – Pro Sebes Koros Volgy organized the meeting of the actors from Crisul Repede region in the tourism field on 26.11.2018 at the cultural center in Urvind. The event was organized within the project Creating a joint tourist destination in the cross-border area of Lugasu de Jos and Kom\u00e1di through cross-border protection of natural heritage values along the Cri\u015ful Repede Valley, a project financed by the Interreg Romania-Hungary Program, PA1 – Joint protection and efficient use of common values and resources, SO6 \/ c – Sustainable use of natural, historical and cultural heritage within the eligible area, project number ROHU 68.<\/p>\n

The meeting was opened by Grim Andras, president of the Pro Valea Cri\u015fului Repede Association – Pro Sebes Koros Volgy. Grim welcomed the massive presence of the representatives of the tourists from the Cri\u015ful Repede Valley area. The president stressed the need to create common tourist routes linking the Cri\u015ful Repede region from \u015euncuius to Komadi. It is necessary to draw up a joint statement outlining the common desiderata of the tourism actors in the Cri\u015ful Repede region.<\/p>\n

The overall objective of the project is to create and promote a new cross-border thematic route along the Cri\u015ful Repede River. The project focuses on the Tileagd reservoir, built on the Cri\u015ful Repede River, and on the Hungarian side the project addresses Lake Vars\u00e1nykeri in Kom\u00e1di. Both lakes have a low conservation status, compromising the development of tourism in their region and requiring urgent interventions. The main results of the project are the improvement of the conservation status of both lakes by the greening of a land occupied by landfill sites located in the immediate vicinity of the Tileagd reservoir on the Romanian side and by the creation of an ornithological habitat on the shores of Lake Vars\u00e1nykerti on the Hungarian side, as well as by supporting these sites with new Enterprise Infrastructures.<\/p>\n
